Ecclesiastes 3:11 NIV, “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
It’s beautiful how Jesus makes us beautiful. When we submit ourselves to Him, it’s a wonder how He works in our lives. The closer we draw to Him, the more our hearts change, so we can reflect His glory. We just have to remember that it’s His timing and not our own. If you’re like me, you may have days when you become frustrated because your progress seems slow. Or perhaps you sometimes find yourself struggling to overcome a certain sin. As long as we’re diligently seeking Him, we are moving forward. We can see how far He’s brought us when we think about how we used to be. We are becoming beautiful as we dwell in the presence of our Savior and saturate our hearts with His Word.
Viewing our lives from an eternal perspective as God does, causes us to bubble over with joy and hope. For we know that where we are now is certainly not the end. On the other side of our earthly life, is more than we can even begin to imagine.
Stay focused on the One who makes you beautiful.

This reminds me of the old Gaither song, “Something Beautiful”
Something beautiful, something good
All my confusion He understood
All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife
But he made something beautiful of my life
If there ever were dreams
That were lofty and noble
They were my dreams at the start
And hope for life’s best were the hopes
That I harbor down deep in my heart
But my dreams turned to ashes
And my castles all crumbled, my fortune turned to loss
So I wrapped it all in the rags of life
And laid it at the cross

I love that song! Thanks for the memory. I don’t think I’ve heard it sung at church since childhood. The Gaither’s have written many wonderful songs.

The spiritual beauty in Christ is powerful big brother. It has a way of making us beautiful inside and out. It surpasses the world’s standards of beauty. I’m thankful for His help because I hardly ever wear makeup lol. ❤️😊

Your post reminds me of the song that Barabara postes in the comment. “All we had to offer Him was brokenness and pain but He made something beautiful of our lives.” When we look at ourselves as God looks at us we are indeed beautiful. God bless you my friend, and enjoy the rest of your day.

Yesterday I wrote this phrase at the top of a Praise list I compiled:
Those who trust You march forward and win.
It’s a paraphrase of the New Century Version of Psalm 20:8.
“They are overwhelmed and defeated, but we march forward and win.”
Looks like we’re on the same wave length. ☺More reassurance, comfort and confirmation that I needed. Thanks for sharing, and thank you Jesus. He answers our prayers and helps us. He is worthy of our praise.
