Exalt His Name!

Psalm 34:1-3 NLT, ”1 I will praise the Lord at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. 2 I will boast only in the Lord; let all who are helpless take heart. 3 Come, let us tell of the Lord’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.”

As I read these verses, it brings peace to my heart by placing my focus on the One who holds my heart and my life safely in His hands, and encouraging me to lift my voice in praise to Him. Truthfully, there are days when life happens and praise may not be our first response. But, the Lord cares about even the tiniest details of our lives. So we can bring those tiny details to Him in prayer. Then, we can turn those prayers into praise as we wait expectantly on Him to answer.

When the unknowns of life come our way, we can always rest knowing that He is watching over us, will guide us and will keep us safe. These are only a few of the countless reasons we have to praise the Lord, at all times.

As we reflect on His faithful love, may we boast about His goodness and constantly speak His praises. Let us exalt His name together!

  1. I agree with you Dawn there are days that praising God doesn’t take place because of our situation at that time and it does becomes very hard for us to do so. I needed to read this today

      1. I have yelled out to God when does this stop for us, when can we move forward and not always living in fear from my abusive husband. I am totally drain and I see my oldest have gone through so much with her health and yet my prayers seems to fall on deaf ears

  2. I love this reminder, Dawn. I agree that there are days when it is difficult to praise Him, depending on our circumstances. However I have been there when worry was overwhelming me, but turning my focus to praise brought peace. Praise is powerful!

  3. This is the third time in 24 hours that the LORD has got my attention with psalm 34. Thank you, Dawn. To Eguyadeen3 I would like to say that I am praying for you and your daughter, that the abuse be removed from your lives. That is not God’s plan for you to be abused by your spouse.

  4. I try to start each morning with praise; it helps me focus on blessings rather than problems. The Lord is great and loving; we should exalt His name. Thanks for the reminder, Dawn!💖🌷🌺

  5. Dawn, was pondering on a decision I have to make. Reading your post reminded me to just focus on God and praise and worship him. And as I do that and draw close to him, it will settle my heart. Thank you for this.
