God Is Not limited

Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT, “But forget all that, it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”

It always brings me joy to remember that God is not limited. He has done great things in the past, but has even greater things planned for the future. That is why we can keep trusting in Him and never stop hoping in Him. No matter how things may seem, our God never stops working on our behalf. He will always make a way for His children. What a mighty God we serve!

  1. I have to often stop myself when I think how is something going to work out. I realise that I am thinking of options with my finite mind and capacity. Our God is not limited indeed and we can take great encouragement from that.
    Blessings Dawn 💙🌺

  2. The part about Him making a path in the wilderness…reminds me of something I heard twice recently in two different places. The story was about the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea on dry ground.
“Your road led through the sea, your pathway through the mighty waters— a pathway no one knew was there!”
    ‭‭Psalms‬ ‭77:19‬ ‭NLT‬‬
The fact that God had already created that pathway ahead of time, really helped me realize God goes before us. He’s already there in our situation! What a powerful truth! Thanks for sharing this, Dawn! Blessings!

    1. You’re welcome! Thanks for sharing that awesome verse! He does make a path for us through the wilderness. All of our steps He orders. No need for us to worry or fear. Have a blessed week Renee!

  3. We serve an unlimited God. All His promises are obtainable by faith. Our limited destiny is unlimited in scope. Greater than Solomon is here. Greater than John the Baptist is here. Greater works than what Jesus did are expected of us. Hallelujah!

  4. This is very encouraging to me tonight. My 3 yr old grandson Eli was admitted to the hospital today with uncontrollable seizures. He hasn’t had one for 2 years. They have ran so many tests. Poor thing is getting better now, but words are slurred, some of them. He is a priceless angel and I will accept any and all prayers please.
Prayers for daughter and her husband as they go through this time that God will comfort them as only He can. Thank you in advance. God is able to completely heal him, this I know.

    1. Hi Donna. I just prayed for you, Eli and his parents. I can’t imagine how difficult this must be. I will also request prayers for all of you in my prayer group at work today. God is able and not limited! You are welcome. ❤️

      1. Thanks Dawn. All I have sometimes is tears and I do so appreciate the support in prayers. Eli is doing better today. He was just at the neurologist a week ago and they didn’t change his meds because he has been 2 years without a seizure. He was doing so good. He had a stroke while in his mommas womb as an infant. Apparently there is a spot with no matter in his brain. But I believe that God can make matter where there is no matter. The doctor had said before that he might not walk or talk and they were wrong. He not only walks, he runs and he is so smart. I was just hoping that he was healed. So the seizures yesterday hurt us all. But God is still faithful and He has a purpose. Through it all, God is good.
So the doctors are increasing his seizure medications. Thanks so much for praying. ♡

      2. I know this is hurtful and shocking since he was seizure free for 2 years. But prayer changes things. And yes, God is faithful. I am believing God along with you and your family for His best for Eli and wisdom for the doctors. Keep praying and hoping my friend. ❤️

      3. Thank you. I will and I am. Just got off face time with Kim. She said they don’t know what caused it. Said it might just be the scar tissue and that it may happen again. I believe the report of the Lord. Not the doctor. Kim was crying this morning. It is a lot for her to deal with. Never knowing when or if your baby is going to have a seizure. She has had a lot of sleepless nights. They have 3 other children at home, including a 6 month old. Eli looks so much better today. Oh it was great to see him. Of course he wanted to talk to grandpa lol. He always asks for him. But grandpa was at work today.
I am thankful for your heart and for your concern. Thanks for listening and for praying.

      4. You’re welcome Donna! My work group just finished praying for Eli and all of you. I am glad he is getting better. That is scary for Kim, just not knowing. They have their hands full with 3 other kids too. I’m praying Eli continues to progress. The Lord is in control.

  5. ow often I need to remember this great word from God! I sometimes have an easier time grasping this truth when I think of huge national problems than I do when I’m facing a concern in the four walls of my own home, like with Aaron and his seizures. Thank you, Dawn, for bringing this refreshment into my heart this morning.

  6. Dawn, this testament reminds me that our Father continues to work behind the scenes. Sometimes we see His actions, and other times we may be totally unaware of what He is up to. Given the times we now live in, I find personal strength in knowing God surpasses all human understanding.
