John 1:5 CSB, “That light shines in the darkness, and yet the darkness did not overcome it.”
The light of Jesus shines through the darkness. No matter how dark things may seem, it will not overcome His light. His light is there to guide us and give us the hope we need to keep moving forward in faith. Are you facing difficulties? Whatever situation you may be facing, I pray that God’s light will shine on you today, and that His love will surround you. No matter how dark your circumstances are, remember, He will never leave you alone. His light is always near to shine direction, strength, truth, hope, and love into your life.

Dawn, nice reading your blog again. Hope you’re doing well at your end. Blessings.

This verse give us hope. Reminds us to not get weary doing good and not feel despondent when we see so much bad going on around us because Christ is ultimately victorious.

I am so glad that we can walk in the light of the Lord Jesus Christ in this dark world that we are living. So many dark things are happening right now in our little island I I needed to hear these encouraging words. Thank you, Dawn.

Your thoughts remind me of 2 Corinthians 4–where I have just been studying.
“Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Thank you, and God Bless!

Amen! Dawn, your testaments are filled with your hope-filled trust in the Lord. I have witnessed Christ’s light at work as my mother is recovering from recent darkness in her own life. Thanks be to God.
