Scripture & Prayer: Meditate on God’s Word, Psalm 1:1-2

Psalm 1:1-2 NIV

Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.

Dear Heavenly Father,

Your Word declares that we are blessed when we choose to not follow the ways of those who reject you. It is you who makes our paths straight and keeps our way pure. Help us to stay clear of sin and choose to walk in the righteousness that we have received through the blood and body of Jesus Christ. When we struggle with sin, help us to turn to you, repent, and receive the strength and courage we need to change.

May we walk in the Spirit of self discipline that you have given us and choose to meditate on Your Word day and night so that we can know and understand your truth, hide it in our hearts, and be doers of your Word. For your Word is flawless and it will always stand.

In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Have a blessed week!

  1. I stand in agreement with you in prayer. We definitely need to meditate on the Word day and night to know the truth in these times of deception. God bless you, my friend and may you have a great weekend.
