A Blessed Life

Psalms 1:1-2, “Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night.”

There is so much information available to us nowadays. We have to be careful to make sure the things we are hearing and reading are in sync with the Word of God. His Word is full of wisdom and will guide us into truth.

Knowing that God is working in our hearts to mature us so that we can grow in our relationship with Him and help others, brings joy, in spite of circumstances. Following the ways of the Lord will not always be easy, but our obedience will lead to a blessed life.

  3. Such a good point! We do need to be careful about what we listen to, read, watch, etc. The world’s distorted view is all around us. But when we stay grounded in God’s Word, it helps us to discern and make the right choices. Thank you for this important message, Dawn! Have a great week! 🤍

  4. I agree we need to filter out anything we hear or see and be sure it is in sync with the Word of God. The evil one tries to convince us to accept lies about ourselves and others.

  8. So true. We are bombarded with a lot of information and we need to be careful what we receive. My mother used to tell me to pick sense out of nonsense.

    I am presently on vacation so I scheduled all my posts about a month ago. I noticed that my last published post was similar to your previous post. It is confirmation from the Lord that we need to praise Him. I pray that you are having a great week.
