Romans 15:5-6, “May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
This verse reminds me of the beauty of unity, or as the verse says one mind and one voice. Christians often disagree about many things, and I once heard someone say that the difference in opinions is the reason there are so many different denominations out there. However, glorifying the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, should always remain our number one priority. Walking in love toward one another, which may sometimes mean agreeing to disagree, will keep our hearts in tune with the Lord’s. The way we live our lives, will always be one of our most impactful testimonies of God’s greatness. And His greatest is one thing we can all agree on.
Our God is great! Stay strong in your faith!

So needed this today. Thank you! Keep sharing the good news.

A good word that we always need to remember. People get so caught up in being right that they forget the main purpose is to carry out the purpose God has set for us, for his name to be known, his love to be shown and all of the glory to be rightfully given to Him.
There is such strength in unity.

Yes, it is easy to get caught up in useless debates. God’s purposes and walking in love should be our focus. Thanks Manu. Blessings ☀️

Thank you for this encouragement, Dawn. Such a good reminder to choose peace. There is a lot of discord in our world, even in the church. But we have a choice. Thank you. Have a great week!

Yay little sister posted again 🙂
A pastor once drew a dart board on a dry erase board with arrows pointing to the different arcs. For the bullseye the arrow had the essential of faith- Deity of Jesus, Trinity, Virgin Birth, Salvation through faith in Jesus alone, Jesus died and was raised from the dead, Jesus will come back, the bible is the word of God. He then said- focus on the essentials. If we agree on those, we are one in Christ.

Yes, had a little break 🤗
I like that pastor’s advice. We have to stay focused on the essentials of our faith in Jesus. That’s what matters most.

Christians indeed disagree on many things; the key to working together in unity is tolerance, forgiveness, and love for one another. May we all learn to work together, spread the good news and glorify God. 💗🌹🌺

I pray that we will make it our priority to always glorify and praise the Lord. The more we do this the less we will find time to compete and disagree. Great reminder, Dawn
