2 Thessalonians 3:13 NIV, “But as for you, brethren, do not grow weary of doing good.”
I always appreciate any encouragement I can get to not grow weary in doing good. After all, the world we live in today gives us many opportunities to turn away from doing good and choose an “easier” path. But God is with us every moment of our lives, and is willing to help us to choose good. He is our ever present help in time of need (Psalm 46:1). The road of commitment to Jesus is not always easy, but it is always blessed. So keep choosing the blessed road.

Even Jesus needed time away to rest, rejuvenate and pray but that isn’t the same as being weary (translated “sick and tired”) in doing good.

I definitely don’t want to be sick and tired of doing good. Because life gets rough at times. Thanks Barb!

The Bible says: And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

Doing good, and helping others by being Jesus, hands, and feet can be time-consuming and overwhelming, but the Lord provides and gives us strength. I pray to keep walking in His light on that blessed road. A timely post, Dawn!❤️🌺

Amen! God is good. This is the second post that I read that encourages me not to give up in doing good. This is a word from the Lord for me. Sometimes we do get weary but we cannot afford to give up now. Thanks, Dawn. How is your daughter? I pray that all is well with her.

Yes Lord! I will choose the blessed road. It’s the best road because Jesus is already there. We must continue to run this race with grace that has been made available unto us. As we continue to serve, it will draw men to know God. Indeed, as believers we must not grow tired and become weary in doing good for as Galatians 6:9 says, in due time we will reap a harvest. God is our sustainer and all that we do must stem from the knowledge of love and knowing Him who has already sacrificed for us. Thank you Jesus 🙏🏿. Dawn, this is a great reminder 🤗

Glad you found it to be a helpful reminder. I agree Jesus is there on the blessed road. He has everything laid out for us. The truth of Galatians 6:9 needs to be rooted in our hearts everyday.
