Romans 13:8 NIV, “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law.”
The continuing debt to love God and love people is a debt that we can never pay in full. Love is ongoing, and we should freely give the gift of love everyday. This time of year is the perfect reminder of love. God loves us and gave us His one and only Son so that our sins could be forgiven. That is true love. May we imitate Jesus and freely share His love with those around us everyday.

So true that this time of the year is such an opportune time to show people the love of God.
May we indeed imitate Jesus and share His love and not be caught up in what to buy or cook or decorate that we overlook those opportunities.
A good reminder Dawn, we need them as everything around us is pushing us to think sort of inwardly.

Yes, we have to stay intentional about letting God guide our thoughts and actions and not get distracted from His purposes for us, just because of the holidays. There are many around us who need to know God loves them and He often uses us as vessels.

Thank you for this timely reminder. In our culture we are taught to look out for “me.” It is sad that many are inconsiderate of others. But as Christians we can choose to be different and spread the light and love of Jesus! 🙌✝️🙏

It’s definitely the “me culture.” May the Lord keep us rooted in His love so we will be aware of others and show them love. Yes, we can choose to be different.

beautiful message. Love sacrificially. For God so loved the world and gave. You can’t be a lover and not be a giver.. Giving is the proof of love.
