Joy and Victory in Jesus

Psalm 118:15 NIV, “Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things!”

This verse always brings me joy! It reminds me of God’s goodness toward us. He is always providing for us, protecting us, and surrounding us with His favor. His unconditional love in our lives is more than enough.

There is always something that we can shout about! Praise and thanksgiving should continually be on our lips because God has done mighty things. He never fails to hear the prayers of his children. In exchange for our prayers, He gives us peace.

Through Jesus Christ we are victorious. We are blessed to know Him. May your heart be filled with hope as you continue to trust in Jesus. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad!

You speak lovely truth about our ongoing relationship with the Lord Jesus–HE is Everything to me, His presence is reassuring and encouraging. There’s no love like His!!   21. Amen. This morning during church prayer meeting we discused Jesus walking on the water. It was a victory walk. Praise God for your post, which reinforces what God is saying to us during these turbulent times. Have a blessed and restful weekend.

  22. Dawn, I forgot to ask how you’re doing during this highly-charged unrest, following the violent deaths of a number of African American men and women. My prayers continue for all their families and friends–and that God would bring good, and real change to heal everyone in our country. God bless you, Rhen ❤

      1. Oh I’m so glad to hear you’re doing well. I’m having a hard time–I try to avoid the news. Trusting God is really the only thing we can do, as there are no fast and easy solutions to deeply rooted problems. My heart breaks for the African American family as a whole–so much grief, and the anger is warranted. In Seattle the protests-turned-riots have been very scary…I fear for everyone’s safety. God bless you in the coming weeks, dear Sister💝

      2. It is difficult to avoid the news, but I try too not to let it all get to me. There’s a lot going on here in America and in the world as a whole. African Americans have endured a lot, and we still are faced with hardships, but I believe in God’s justice. Prayer works! Keep trusting in the Lord sister, thanks for your support. ❤️
