Jesus, a donkey, and His Father – Part 1

Last week I had the pleasure of participating with fellow bloggers in a Zoom meeting hosted by Matt @ Jesusluvsall. It was great spending sometime getting to know everyone a little better, while exchanging thoughts and ideas about blogging. (Thanks big brother Matt! 😊) If you haven’t already, check out their blogs when you get a chance.

Kelly @ The Simple Preacher, came up with the topic of “Jesus, a donkey, and His Father.” So over the next several weeks on Tuesdays, us bloggers will take turns sharing our thoughts on this topic.

Kelly started off the series this past Tuesday, check out his post here: Jesus, a donkey, and His Father – Part 1

I will post on this topic on 4/28, but will also be sharing posts on this topic from the other bloggers listed above who are participating.

Matt will be hosting another Zoom meeting this Saturday, 4/18 at 10am CST. If you decide to attend, I know you will enjoy the fellowship. Here is the link to the invite if you’re interested in attending: INVITE.

  1. Morning Dawn,
I’m just wondering if the Zoom meeting was recorded, and or if there are points from the meeting that could be shared with our community. I would love to know the thoughts discussed on blogging, and any other pertinent information.
    Blessings my friend, Jacquie ♥

    1. Hi Jacquie,
I’m glad Matt answered your question because I wasn’t sure if the meeting had been recorded, but now we know it wasn’t. 😊
I can’t remember everything I contributed (I’ll only discuss me due to privacy) and I didn’t take notes. But my advice in the meeting to other bloggers was to 1) be yourself and write as God leads you because everyone has a different style of writing, so no need to compete. 2) For me it was interesting to hear how everyone comes up with material for their post. Personally I’m more of a write in the moment type of person whereas others plan ahead and write in advance. Most of my posts are written the day before I post. I get inspiration from Bible verses the Holy Spirit brings to me or things that are going on around me, things from my life/past etc.
The interactions were enjoyable. We also closed in prayer which was nice. Maybe you and Ken can join in the future if you’re able. I’m not sure how often Matt will hold these.
      Blessings! 🤗

      1. Wonderful advice! Learning to “be yourself” is seriously one of THE most important things we could do in life. So wonderfully freeing! I tend to write the day before my post comes out too, finding inspiration in a very similar way as you 🙂

    1. Awwww so sorry I missed you little sister! I’m glad the meeting was great. Saturday mornings are a tough time for me to attend. But I hope to catch up with you in one of them. Be safe! Hugs! 💕🤗💕
