But The Lord Is Faithful

2 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV, “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”

Everyday we can trust God to be with us and protect us from the fiery darts that the enemy tries to throw our way. The weapons he attempts to form against us will not prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord goes before us and He will strengthen us and uphold us (Deuteronomy 31:8, Isaiah 41:10). Look to Him, and lay every concern you have before Him in prayer. Pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

The Lord is faithful and His faithfulness to us will never end. Offer Him thanksgiving for this new day that He has made (Psalm 118:24). Praise Him through every trial. Trust Him even when you don’t understand (Proverbs 3:5). May the peace of God rule and reign in your heart through Jesus Christ our Lord (Colossians 3:15).

  1. Love all the verses you put together for this. It comforts my soul to read of HIS faithfulness, His protection from the evil one, his provision of strength and that we can go to Him anytime and every time with our concerns.
    Yes indeed He is worthy of all our praise.

    1. Thank you! I’m so glad you loved the verses and find them to be a comfort. Knowing He will always be faithful brings joy! The move preparation is coming along. This past week, I secured a moving company and started packing. Thanks so much asking. Hope you are well. 💙

      1. That is so true. In our society it is so narcissistic and everyone is so focused on themselves to follow Him one must deny himself (Luke 9:23 kjv) which means not focusing on you but entirely on Him 💙 bless you Sister in Jesus Christ name

      2. That’s right! Society promotes love, but is not a godly love. It’s a self centered love where people do what makes them feel good without regard for God and others. Focusing on Him is key. He brings us peace. God bless you too in the name of Jesus. ✝️

  15. A graceful reminder Sis- He is always faithful. Just as Love is Him, faithfulness He is!.

    And this phrase “Trust God even when it doesn’t make sense” I have had to do this this year countless times. And getting to know that in it all – God is Good and Faithfulness is His nature too has kept me going. 💃🙂

    1. I don’t know what I’d do if He wasn’t a faithful trustworthy God. We’re so blessed to know Him.

  16. I like the phrase, :but the Lord is faithful.” When we are going through some tough times we can add that phrase at the end. It is comforting to the soul. It is enough to give us strength to endure. Thanks Dawn and blessings to you.
