How different would things be from a perspective that isn’t mine?

How much more understanding, compassion, would I gain?

What would it be like to see with your eyes, hear with your ears, live your life?

Would I finally understand you?

Would I finally understand why you lash out in anger and why you cower in silence?

Maybe that anger is really fear and maybe that silence is really rebellion.

What would it be like if I lived in your skin, even if just for one day?

Would finally see the real you and not the face you show us?
