Our Ministry of Reconciliation

I sometimes wonder what it’s like to be God. He is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, and His love never ends. It’s amazing that in all His magnificence, He would still choose to use us as vessels to show the world who He is.

Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, we have the privilege to be witnesses and help others come to know Him too. Through the power of The Holy Spirit who lives in us, God has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

2 Corinthians 5:18 NIV, “All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:”

When God gave us His Son, He gave us His very best. We can’t see past the current moment, but He can see all of our days from beginning to end. The life we are living here on Earth, should be preparing us for our eternal life in heaven.

As we prepare, we can help others prepare too, by sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with them. The message of the Cross and the power of the blood that was shed there, bring life to this dying world.

  1. Ooo Dawn, I need Jesus to work so much in me if they’re to see him in me! Still, as Joyce Meyers says, “I’m not yet where I need to be, but thank God I’m not where I was ” 😁

      1. Joyce Meyers has done more for me than Prozac ever did! She tells it as it is and shares the Word in truth. I love her too. ☺

      2. Haha. Yes, she has really helped me to grow in Christ too. I have been to a few of her conferences and read many of her books.

      3. I’m reading her books and watching her on YouTube. I’d love her to come back to the u.k. as I hadn’t heard of her when she last here. Maybe she will before long. ☺

  2. Can you imagine if God’s view was as limited as ours? Nope, I tried and can’t 😊 In His loving kindness He has called us His own, and has equipped us to spread His love, we just need to embrace the assignment. Thank you for reminding us we have been reconciled to Him Dawn. It such an awesome reminder this morning.

  4. Seek the kingdom of God first then all greatness shall follow so people often wants God things without even seeking his kingdom first…no one can be compared to God and no one can even attempted to do so…
