Philippians 4:19, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”

This verse came to mind recently and I felt overwhelmed by God’s love. Just knowing that He will supply whatever I need, brought me joy. It does not matter where we are or what predicament we are in; God will give us what we need. God’s ability to supply all we need goes far beyond money or other material items. He gives the rest, strength, peace, joy or comfort that we need. He puts the right people in our lives at the right time. He gives us Himself so that we know He is always there with us and we can see and feel His love for us.
What is it that you need from the Lord? Trust Him to supply whatever you need. He is our loving Father and He cares for us more than we can even understand at times.
Father,
Thank you for supplying our needs. We know that you are faithful and give us what we need. During times where we feel we are lacking something, help us to trust that you are working. Even when we do not see what we are praying for with our natural eyes, help us to remain steadfast with thankful hearts. Help us to choose joy, even when we go through times of trial. You promised that those who seek and trust you, lack no good thing (Psalm 34:20).
In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Amen and Amen 🙏🏽. He indeed does even though we cannot see his hand at work always, we trust in his love and his faithful character.
Blessings Dawn 💙💐

I needed this today. My job is so overwhelming at times. I feel inadequate when something difficult comes my way. I pray often for God’s help, but days like today I still feel like I am banging my head against the wall. I need to trust. Thank you for this reminder. I pray you have a lovely week, my friend! 🙏🤍🙌

Hi Bridget. I’m so thankful this helped you out today. Our jobs can be very stressful at times. I too have called out to Him for help during stressful days at work. Praying with you that God will strengthen you and bring you all you need on your job. You’re welcome! And thank you. ❤️

Philippians 4:19 may be a familiar verse, but you brought fresh meaning from its truth, Dawn, in your closing prayer. I’m using my imagination to picture myself in the future, looking back on how God supplied a need I face in the present. I want my future self to be able to say, “I trusted you, Father, without wavering! I remained steadfast in hope, and kept thanking you in advance for your help. Through the wait time, I choose joy, confident you would see me through to your pre-ordained conclusion!” Thank you, Dawn, for helping me to set my focus!

Thank you Nancy for sharing this! And so thankful this helped. Looking back at God’s past faithfulness certainly helps us to be confident that He will continue to be faithful in the present. Amen to your declaration! You’re welcome.

Dawn, I think of this verse often. I volunteer in a soup kitchen and often see God meeting our needs. It is surprising each time – but we thank and praise the Lord, who knows and answers our needs. Blessings! ❤️🦋🌺

Yes He does! It is easy to focus on the tangible needs and forget to be thankful for the intangible needs that He meets each day! Blessings Richard!
