Never Separated From God’s Love

“No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:39 NLT

One thing about the Lord that I love is that He loves us. He not only loves us, but He first loved us (1 John 4:19). Therefore, there is nothing we can say or do to earn His love. He gives it to us freely. Even when things around us are unpredictable, God’s Love is the one thing that will never change. We can be sure of His perfect love. It’s true, nothing can separate us from God’s love. When we go through hardships, His love is there. When we feel alone, His love is there. We live in a world that wants to separate us from God’s love by denying His existence, but even through the denial, His love is still there. We don’t have to worry, because His love lives inside of us through His Spirit. He has promised to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

I encourage you to remember God’s Love for you as you face this day, and I pray you find peace in knowing that His love is always with you.

  1. God has designed us to be in a relationship with him.

He knows us all so completely, in all our frailty, yet loves us, unconditionally.

How delighted he must be, when he sees humans returning his love.
As Chris mentioned, God always has ways to continue to win souls into his kingdom.
Thanks, Dawn, for helping to bring others to the Lord. 🤗

  2. Amen!
I’m so thankful that He first loved me, so I have nothing on Him, and can be quite sure that His love for me wasn’t and isn’t predicated on my love for Him. No ma’am! His love for me is divine 🙌🏽

  3. Thank God that His love never change and it is unconditional. As you stated, Dawn, we need that anchor and assurance in these turbulent times. I enjoyed your devotions. They always seems to set me on the right track. Yesterday I was feeling so discouraged, but God has a a way of sending His Word through this media. That is why I love blogging. Have a blessed day

  4. I was just thinking along the same lines as Beverley above. I am much more aware of God’s anchoring love when I spend time in His Word and in prayer most mornings. That anchor holds me steady throughout the day. Praise God we can learn to sense His loving presence and receive everything we need because of that love!
