Keep on Praying

1 Thessalonians 5:17 GNT, “Pray at all times,” 1 Thessalonians 5:17 NLT, “Never stop praying.”

Prayer, is our lifeline. Being able to constantly communicate with our Heavenly Father, anytime of day or night is an honor and a privilege. Rather we’re tucked away in our secret prayer closet, or driving down the street, we can talk to the Lord. I love that we can ask God for help as we go about our daily tasks or even when we’re struggling with a work assignment. We can trust Him to bring the clarity and direction we need, no matter what the situation is that we’re facing.

Choosing to trust God in the midst of our storms, and in the midst of uncertainty is the same as choosing victory. There is absolutely no difference. We can’t lose when we choose Jesus. No matter how circumstances may look at the time, by faith we know that He has already won our battles.

Remember, we don’t have to have all the answers, we just need to have Jesus, He is the answer. His presence, strength, and peace will sustain us. Sometimes the answers to our prayers come in the most unexpected ways. You never know how, when, or through whom the Lord will move on your behalf. Therefore, my brothers and sisters in Christ, never stop praying.

  1. Lovely. Prayer gives life meaning. We are blessed enough to be able to pray. I believe that prayer is actually communication with God so it has to be two way. There are times when we have to speak to God and times when we have to sit and listen to His Voice.

  2. Yes! Reminds me of Jesus’ words in the garden, “Watch and pray, so that you will not fall into temptation.” Prayer, along with soaking in his word, for that is the only source of TRUTH that is certain these days. One who kneels before the Father and meditates on his word, will never be deceived.

  4. Amen Dawn! I just experienced this very thing at work last week. And the lesson of praying and giving the error that I had made to Jesus. Literally putting into His hands for the outcome teaching me to be a woman of integrity to tell the truth of the error I had made. I am so grateful for the opportunity that the Lord counselled me and the Father building Christ character in me. So grateful to the Holy Spirit’s guiding and leading me and giving me His peace. He is AWESOME! #Hopefilledheart#

    1. That’s great! It’s a blessing that God desires to work in our lives to build our character. We spend a lot of time at work so that’s one of the main places we learn and grow. I always say when I leave this world one day, I want to be remembered as a woman of integrity who loved the Lord. Thanks for sharing Andrea! You’re testimony is encouraging. I completely agree, He is AWESOME!

  5. Praise the Lord! Prayer is indeed our life line. Since this pandemic crisis there are a lot of people who think that they know the answer. But, do they really know the answer? I don’ t even think that the heads of government or top doctors know the answer. They are all playing a guessing game. But, guess what? Jesus is the answer! Thank you, Dawn. I feel comforted by this word. Blessings to you.

    1. You’re welcome Beverley! I’m glad it was comforting to you. The Lord keeps reminding me of the importance of prayer. I agree it seems like a guessing game the way the information keeps changing in the news. I’m glad Jesus is the answer! He’s our Rock. Blessings to you sister. I know things are crazy now, but did your son ever hear anything back from the school in Florida he was interested in?

      1. My son was accepted in Embry Riddle. He never applied to Florida. At the rate at how things look right now I don’t think he will be going to Embry riddle next fall. I believe God has another school in place for him. Thanks for asking.

  6. It’s not been an easy year but talking to God just relieves the pain. Isaiah 40:31 they that wait upon the Lord He shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not weary. They shall walk and not faint 🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️.
