Renewed Strength Through Jesus Christ

Isaiah 40:31 NKJV, “But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”

As we wait on the Lord, by placing our hope and trust in Him, and expecting Him to do what is best in our hearts, our lives, and the world around us, our strength is renewed. Living our lives in faithfulness to the Lord, especially during times of crisis can be hard. Trusting Him when things don’t make sense can be even harder. However, it’s fascinating to know that when we decide to choose hope in Him, even when things seem hopeless, or faith in Him, even when fear knocks at the door of our hearts, He has promised to renew our strength so that we do not become weary or faint.

God’s Holy Spirit will empower us with the supernatural ability to soar, while everything else around us is falling down. Knowing that God is in control is really all we need to know to walk in peace. He is a good God who will never fail us. He has promised to never forsake His faithful ones, and supply all that we need. Keep waiting, hoping, and trusting in the Lord.

  1. Amen 🙏🏿. He gives us strength as we wait on Him. In this times of crisis, it shows us who is Sovereign and how we need to continually seek Him. Even at this time, no one has the solution yet but I trust that God will give wisdom unto His people. There is a way with God. The key is to seek Him amidst everything. While the world is afraid, we must ask God to increase our faith and to rid fear from His people. The Lord is in Control 😊

  2. He is in control and that gives me peace. He will supply all that we need and never forsake us- that gives me security. We need to minimise the noise of the world that feeds the fear and focus on Him to quiet our hearts.
    Stay safe and careful 😊🤗.

      1. We are doing good. Thank God. My son has been out of a job for months and I have been praying and praying. Then I read a post by Maurice that said “God is perfecting it.” Shortly afterwards the coronavirus became a pandemic and now I realized why God did not provide him with a job as yet. It is because my son is high risk due to his heart problem so he has to be at home now. God knows what lies ahead of us. Thank you, Jesus.

      2. You’re son’s situation is a great example of how God works things out for us. Even when we don’t understand everything, once He finishes “perfecting” as Maurice said, we can see how He had a good plan the whole time. I second that! Thank you Jesus! 🙌🏿
