Seeing Through Your Eyes Of Faith

Hebrews 11:1 NIV, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

When I read this verse, the words confidence and assurance pop out at me. Those are powerful words that remind us that there is no room for doubt. Walking by faith is possible because the foundation of our faith is Jesus Christ. Putting our faith in Him means that we can be confident and sure. The hope we have in Christ is not an empty hope limited by what we see with our natural eyes. We can stand on the truth of God’s Words, knowing He is faithful to keep His promises to us.

I was encouraged by this post entitled, “SIGHT beyond what I SEE in the natural” by Kim @ Beyond My Limitations. She reminds us to keep our focus on God because His purposes will prevail and stretch far beyond what we see in the natural. Thanks Kim!

  2. When I saw the word faith, I was immediately reminded of my words for the week. My words for this week is Joy, Faith, Love and Peace. At the beginning of the week, I ask God what is on his heart and for Him to set my eyes on what on the things that concerns Him. Indeed, having faith in God is very key. Everyone has faith but what we choose to believe in also can determine how we view life in itself. Thank you for this reminder Dawn 😊

    1. You’re welcome Karen! I’m thankful to hear this was in line with what God has placed in your heart. Joy, Faith, Love, and Peace! You’re right, what we choose to believe in determines the course of our lives. 😊

  3. An example of this that I love is Abraham when God called him to leave the home of his father to go to a place that God would show him. God called him, Abraham followed God’s call with no idea where God was going to lead him.

    1. That story of Abraham is so inspiring. I love it! It reminds us that we have to obey God one step at a time then trust Him to provide what we need along the way. Thanks for sharing big brother! 😊
