Blessed With Full Assurance

Hebrews 10:22 NIV, “let us draw near to God with a sincere heart and with the full assurance that faith brings…”

One of the many treasures of living our lives in Christ is the full assurance that having faith in Him brings. This assurance isn’t based on circumstances, and it isn’t based on our own abilities. It’s based on who He is. We are able to have complete confidence in Him, because of His flawless character. Things don’t have to make sense to our natural minds, because His wisdom and knowledge far outweigh our own.

Nothing can replace the full assurance we receive from having God’s love surround us. We can be honest with Him about our feelings. We can give all our doubts and fears to Him in prayer, and He will give us His perfect peace. He holds our future and He holds our hand as we walk through this life. Draw near to God with a sincere heart, and find rest as you rely on Him to guide you.

  1. Amen Dawn!
We can now come to God. The way in is by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for he is like the curtain in the special tent. We have to come with sincere hearts. The heart here means that the real person as we are on the inside. We have to be right with God and be pure as we come to him. This can only be true of us as we put our trust in Jesus and in what he has done for us. We must know that Jesus has washed us clean from all our sins. T

    1. Very true Sherita. There is a song I was listening to just this morning called, “A Heart Like Yours” by CeCe Winans. As you mentioned, our hearts must be pure. I like that as we grow in Jesus, He purifies our hearts. I pray we continue to seek Him daily so our hearts will be more like His.

    2. Praise the Lord for your comment! Thank you. It is just so important that people repent and accept Jesus with a SINCERE heart. I have heard people say that just reciting the sinner’s prayer will get you on the way and you are good. I feel so sorry for those people because they will be disappointed in the end. When we repent sincerely God will make us righteous in His eyes!

      1. It reminds me of this verse…

        Matthew 7:21-23 NKJV
21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

  2. Amen!! Fully persuaded!!

“And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: 20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; 21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. 22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”..Romans 4:19-22

  3. Dawn, I think this statement, “Things don’t have to make sense to our natural minds, because His wisdom and knowledge far outweigh our own,” needs to be our constant reminder. It’s truly in our nature to want to figure things out. Walking in faith means we won’t figure them out. We grow in trust as God reveals His will in His way, and His time. Great word! Blessings ♥

    1. Yes Jacquie, I’ve been guilty of “trying to figure everything out” but when I release it to God He carries my burdens, gives me His peace, and works everything out for my good. You’re right walking by faith means we don’t need to figure things out. ❤️

    1. Nothing is too small for Him. He cares for us greatly. He’s concerned with every detail of our lives. I agree that even though He knows, He still wants us to come to Him anyway in prayer. I think that helps us to trust Him more. 😊💕

  4. Amen!
“Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine. O what a foretaste of glory divine.” We never have to worry, wonder or fret. Jesus is ours. His promises are ours. We can take this to the bank – even after opening hours and they MUST let us in. 🤗❤️

  5. Isn’t it wonderful to know that, even though we still stumble and sin, when we repent God looks at us as being righteous? Sometimes this is hard to comprehend because we know that we are not perfect and will fail again. Blessings, Elfriede
