Our God is the God of Abundance

The more the enemy tries to steal, the more I realize the importance of recognizing that we serve the God of abundance. Our God’s resources are unlimited. The evil one is always on the prowl seeking to steal our peace of mind, our stability, our resources, our joy, our loved ones, you name it. But probably most of all he wants to steal our faith and trust in our God.

2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV, “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”

Focusing on the abundance of God, reminds us that as we work to bring glory to His name, He will supply our every need. He will never leave His children empty handed. Mark 10:29-30, tells us that we will be rewarded when we give of ourselves, or our resources to follow Christ. I have days where I feel I want “more” of something. But when I stop and think about God’s goodness, I realize that He has always supplied exactly what I need, and even many of my wants. Remember that we serve an abundant God who has more than enough. He will faithfully take good care of us. In Him there is no lack.

    1. Amen! Thanks for sharing that writing, “Break the Chains!”We can not limit God. We need to constantly renew our minds to see His perspective in all things. His ways and thoughts are higher than ours. Thanks again! 😊

  1. Very enlightening and encouraging devotion 👏. All things, all times, having all that you need…both the spiritual and temporal.

God provides. He provides through your family. He provides through people who care about you. He provides through your hard work and skills. He ensures that you have what you need, even if if means working a miracle to feed a crowd of thousands with a small lunch. God has the power, the will, and the follow-through to make sure you are well taken care of, having everything that you need for your body and life.

Thank you Lord that you opened the flowgate of grace when you sent your son to take my place. Thank you Lord.

Have a great day my sister❤

    1. Thank you Faye!! 😊 Yes He does provide for us! Sometimes my issue is learning to trust His timing. I have to remember to take one day at a time. He will supply our daily bread. You’re so right, He has power to perform miracles! Thank you Jesus 🌸

  2. One fateful Friday, I went to a all night crusade and I’ve never ever been touched the way I was touched by God that night. But I reached in the morning to discover burglars entered my home and made away with valuable items. I lamented. Why did God allow this to happen when I was at the Church, praising and praying. Well, the coming week brought a lot of miracles that I was speechless. I replaced everything that was lost and even better than the old.
When the enemies steal, God has a way of replacing it in folds.

    1. So true! Waiting on His timing is important. It’s one of the ways God teaches us to trust Him. I’m actually going through a season now of waiting on God for direction. Even with God having all we need we must wait for Him to release things to us in His time. Thanks for this reminder! 😊

  3. Amen! A reminder we need to keep in the forefront of our thinking:
Look at all the birds—do you think they worry about their existence? They don’t plant or reap or store up food, yet your heavenly Father provides them each with food. Aren’t you much more valuable to your Father than they? Matthew 6:26. Blessings to you friend ♥
